Marketing Summer Intern (Belgium) - content & social media
Deliveroo is on a mission to transform the way the world thinks about food delivery. It’s not a chicken chow mein and a night on the sofa anymore, it’s your favourite local restaurant, it’s a dinner party, a date.
We’re four years in, and along the way our team have taken hundreds of ideas from brainstorms to global roll-outs, like Deliveroo Editions – bespoke kitchens designed to host a locally-curated selection of restaurants. Editions are our solution to ensuring that our customers have access to the best of the food-scene, no matter where they live.
And that’s just what we’re like at Deliveroo, no compromise allowed and lots of food-inspired challenges to get your teeth into. Out-of-the-box thinking is actively encouraged and we move quickly to make great ideas happen. We’re energetic, fast-paced and blow off steam with free-for-all Friday lunches.
It’s a formula that’s working too – we’re bringing great food to customers in 12 countries and over 100 cities.
We are now looking for a highly talented marketing intern for Belgium. This is an unpaid student internship.
This is a rare opportunity for a student to become a young member of a rapidly growing, well-funded startup, active in Belgium since Sept 2015. You will primarily be helping driving consumers to use our online platform to order delivery from the best restaurants to their homes and offices. This is a role for an intelligent, motivated self-starter to develop their marketing career and help make us a household name in Belgium.
This new internship opportunity is mainly focused on content marketing and community management with our social media channels.
Roles will include:
- Create dedicated content for Deliveroo Belgium
- Execute online and social media campaigns
- Help manage the online community
- Liaise with marketing and design teams in London for customized, local initiatives
- Help with all strategic marketing projects
We’re looking for a student to help our content, PR and social media efforts. A highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Social Media Manager - someone to help grow our business through creative and engaging social media strategies. They’ll sit within the marketing team, but work closely with teams from across the whole business. They’ll head up and expand our existing content and social teams, bringing a strategic eye and ensuring our efforts scale alongside the business.
Our ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial, passionate brand builder. We want someone who won’t be satisfied until we’re a global mega-brand with a fleet of evangelical users. Someone who wants people talking, sharing and tweeting about Deliveroo outside of takeaway. They know success isn’t being the preferred takeaway option, it’s changing the way people think about food.
This is an amazing opportunity to implement and execute social strategy across platforms to attract and engage customers in an exciting new service. This is the perfect first experience for a Mar-Com student to kick-start his/her career!
The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, highly organised and collaborative. The culture of Deliveroo requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working at fast pace.
